10-Frame 6 5/8" Assembled Medium Super w/ Frames and Foundation (Complete)

This super is typically used for the bees to store surplus honey for harvest but some beekeepers use them for brood nests too. The super is added to the top of the hive to give more room to the bees for expanding population in the spring as well as a place to store nectar and honey. It is not uncommon to add more than one super during a nectar flow. Having 3 or 4 per colony is a good rule of thumb.
