Gallberry Honey: North Florida Favorite

The most common question we get is, "Does it actually have berries?" While the Gallberry bush (a native evergreen holly) produces small, inedible purple berries, the real treasure is the nectar from its delicate white blossoms. Blooming from late April through early June, these flowers allow our bees to produce a honey that is thick, aromatic, and uniquely Floridian.
